There are 2 ski passes in the region:
- PRINTZE - includes all of NENDAZ, SIVIEZ, VEYSONNAZ, LES COLLONS and THYON 2000 (an area larger than the entire ski region of most resorts!)
- GENERAL - covers all regions, including the MONT-FORT glacier.
The
areas they cover are outlined below, and you can get day & half-day
extentions from PRINTZE to GENERAL. Please do not hesitate to ask
if you have any questions regarding ski pass choice.
The price of your holiday depends on which ski
pass you choose. Remember that the ski pass is INCLUDED
in the holiday price.
Novice skiers should not need more than a PRINTZE pass, which can be extended if required.
The lift system can carry over 72,500 persons per
hour, and has 5 cable cars (including 'Le Jumbo' carrying 160 persons!),
14 gondolas (including the new Funitels carrying 30 persons in each
car), 33 chair lifts and 49 drag lifts.
There are 30 blue runs, 40 red runs and 12 black
runs which breaks down to 103kms of black runs, 168kms of red runs
and 129kms of blue runs. The Ski Tour and High Mountain Tour runs
offer some of the most challenging runs in the Alps. Heli-skiing
is very popular here, and Para-Gliding is available.
