Resort & Skiing Information

This region has an stunningly beautiful ski area which is extremely conducive to improvement. The ski school (ESS) is of a very high standard and the lifts are well linked.

NIGHT LIFE

Apres-ski is excellent here, informal and very good value with a traditional village boasting unpretentious and friendly restaurants - in fact one of the memories you will take away from here is how friendly everyone is.

Aprés-ski ranges from quiet informal cafes to lively bars with music and rock bands. There are bars for every taste, and discotheques with dancing until dawn, if you have the energy! Discotheques are free entry most nights, and they and the main bars offer a number of theme nights as well. Drinks prices are very good value for a top ski resort (only about £2 for a pint) and mountain restaurants are very reasonably priced. Restaurants vary from traditional pizzas from about £6, to American, Mexican, Chinese and of course the Swiss specialities. All food is of a very high quality. Why not try the famous Café du Centre, run by a Scot and with it's own brewery on site - great food as well!
