Leukerbad ~ Skiing & Thermal Baths...

This excellent ski region offers a mixture of spectacular scenery, good skiing and great Thermal Baths

There are 52kms of pistes to 2700m and a number of excellent ski schools to try

Whilst Leukerbad is not the largest ski area in the world, it has a wonderful atmosphere and 22 thermal baths to try!

Skiing:

Novice

17% of the runs are blue runs to get you on your feet and excellent ski schools to assist you progress

Intermediate

50% of the runs are red runs with nice cruising and off-piste

Advanced

A third of all runs are black runs here! Leukerbad has the runs to test you to your limit

Night Life:

Aprés-ski ranges from informal cafes to lively bars with music and rock bands. There are bars and restaurants for every taste, and night clubs with dancing until dawn, if you have the energy! Night clubs are generally free entry and they and the main bars offer a number of theme nights as well. There is even a casino to make a profit on your holiday!

There are 22 Thermal Baths here - one of the largest centres in Switzerland. Relax in the naturally heated water have a massage to sooth the aches away!

Drinks prices are good value for a top ski resort (from only CHF6 - approx £3.70 - for a pint) and Leukerbad's mountain restaurants are reasonably priced and with excellent food. Restaurants vary from traditional pizzas from about £6, to American, Mexican, Chinese - in fact cuisine from every country in the world - and of course the Swiss specialities. All food is of a very high quality.
