Our guides are OTC trained, 1st aid qualified and are experts on riding and the area ~ you will feel the passion they have for the sport and the determination to make your holiday and rides the very best.

Our riding groups have small sizes, from 2 to 6-persons, to make sure the rides are flowing, safe and a great experience.

We normally allocate you a personal guide for your group to make sure that rides are geared to your own personal levels and preferences. With us, you matter

Al Pittar

MTB Guide (Ultimate XC)

Al has been riding in Zermatt and the Valais region for over 10 years. His main interest is mountain biking, mixed with snowboarding during the winter. A genuinely excellent tour leader, OTC Leader trained and with in depth knowledge of the trails, his mechanical skills have saved the ride more than once! Genuine in his interest in you and his love of the sport, Al is a great person to show you around.

Andy Meadows

MTB Guide (XC & DH)

Andy is a highly qualified ski instructor in the winter, having worked in Zermatt, Saas-Fee and Japan. In the summers he is one of our top team of MTB guides. CTC Leader trained and with a great sense of humour, his personality and skills will enhance your holiday and show you great trails.

Stuart Pointon

MTB Guide (XC & DH)

Stuart has been in Zermatt since 2001. His main interest is mountain biking, mixed with skiing during the winter. An genuinely excellent tour leader, OTC Leader trained and with in depth knowledge of the trails, his mechanical skills, relaxed approach and good sense of humour add a sparkle to all his rides. Chris Patient

MTB Guide (Ultimate XC)

Chris lives for the outdoor lifestyle. A Zermatt resident for over 20 years, enjoying his hobbies of mountaineering, climbing, skiing, paragliding and, of course, mountain biking. OTC Leader trained and also an excellent photogapher, it would be difficult to find someone with more all-round skills, excellent ability, knowledge and as patient as his name suggests! 4 times Grand Raid Crystalp rider.

Managing Director of OTP Holidays. Operating in Switzerland for 20 years, the company originally specialised in winter ski holidays and is now teamed up with Al, Andy, Chris, Stuart, the Zermatt, Saas-Fee & Nendaz Tourist Offices and Switzerland Tourism to provide these excellent summer holidays to Zermatt. Always around and available, he is the personable face you tend to never see in a company - the boss available to discuss your holiday over a beer!
