The Alps are well known for the excellent Mountain Biking on offer. At last, ZERMATT is available to mountain bikers from the novice to the extreme rider with a wide variety of tracks with choices of ascents and descents to stun you. Not only do we have the great trails, but we also have 2 of the best Mountain Bikers to guide and help you get the best out of the area. We also offer video footage of your rides and debriefs over a few thirst-quenching and cheap beers at our adopted pub - The North Wall Bar.

The Team:

Chris PATIENT: Chris lives for the outdoor lifestyle. A ZERMATT resident for over 15 years, enjoying his hobbies of mountaineering, climbing, skiing, paragliding and, of course, mountain biking. Also an excellent photogapher, it would be difficult to find someone with more all-round skills, excellent ability and as patient as his name suggests!

Al PITTAR (Big Al): Al has lived in ZERMATT for over 5 years. His main interest is mountain biking, mixed with snowboarding during the winter. An excellent tour leader, OTC Leader trained, with in depth knowledge of the trails, his mechanical skills have saved the ride more than once. Genuine in his interest in you and his love of the sport, Al is a great person to show you around.

Jeff MICHEL: Managing Director of OTP Holidays. Operating in Switzerland for 14 years, the company originally specialised in winter ski holidays and now has teamed up with Chris, Al, the Zermatt Tourist Office and Switzerland Tourism to provide these excellent summer holidays to ZERMATT. Always around and available, he is the personable face you tend to never see in a company - the boss available to discuss your holiday over a beer! A joint British and Swiss national, he will be available to show you the great summer ski area as well.
